Cooking ribeye steaks in the oven results in a perfectly seared and juicy steak with minimal effort. This method ensures a tender, flavorful steak that is easy to prepare and cook.
Oven steaks ribeye are simple to make and deliver restaurant-quality results at home. The high heat of the oven creates a delicious crust while keeping the inside tender and juicy.
– 2 ribeye steaks, about 1 inch thick – 2 tablespoons olive oil – 2 teaspoons sea salt – 1 teaspoon black pepper – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 2 sprigs fresh rosemary (optional) – 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
Pat steaks dry and rub with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Sear steaks in an oven-safe skillet over high heat, 2-3 minutes each side.
Add garlic, rosemary, and butter to the skillet.
Transfer skillet to oven and cook for 5-7 minutes for medium-rare.
