For the Red Gelatin Layer:
- 1 3 oz box strawberry or cherry Jell-O
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
For the Creamy Layer:
- 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin about 2 tablespoons
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
Optional for Extra Hearts (Pink Layer or Multi-Color):
- Additional Jell-O flavors like raspberry watermelon, or pink lemonade
Prepare the Red Gelatin Layer
In a bowl, mix Jell-O with 1 cup boiling water until fully dissolved. Stir in ½ cup cold water.
Pour into a 9x13 dish. Chill in the fridge for about 1 hour or until set.
Layer the Creamy Gelatin
Once the red layer is set, gently pour the creamy gelatin layer over the top.
Return to the fridge and chill for another 2–3 hours, or until firm.
