- 1 can 15 oz tomato sauce (or crushed tomatoes for chunkier texture)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1Β½ tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Β½ tsp garlic powder
- Β½ tsp onion powder
- Β½ tsp sugar balances acidity
- Β½ tsp salt or to taste
- ΒΌ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for heat
In a medium bowl, combine tomato sauce and tomato paste.
Add oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
Stir in the olive oil.
Whisk until smooth and well combined.
