This Domino’s-style pizza recipe features a chewy, golden pan-style crust, zesty tomato sauce, and melty mozzarella, just like you’d expect from the famous pizza chain. You can customize it with your favorite toppings to recreate your Domino’s favorite at home—fresh and hot from your oven.

Ingredients
  

For the Dough:

  • 3 cups bread flour or all-purpose
  • 1 tbsp dry milk powder optional, for Domino’s-like flavor
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 packet 2ÂĽ tsp instant dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water ~110°F
  • For the Pizza Sauce:
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Toppings:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: pepperoni mushrooms, green peppers, onions, sausage, olives, etc.

For the Pan:

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil for greasing pan – creates crisp crust

Instructions
 

Step 1: Make the Dough

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, milk powder, salt, sugar, and yeast.
  • Add warm water and olive oil, then mix to form a dough.
  • Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled.

Step 2: Make the Sauce

  • While dough rises, mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  • Adjust seasoning. Let rest so flavors meld (optional: simmer 10 mins).

Step 3: Prep the Pans

  • Add 1 tbsp oil to each pan and tilt to coat bottom and sides.
  • Punch down dough, divide in half.
  • Press or roll out dough to fit pans, pushing slightly up the edges.
  • Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.

Step 4: Assemble & Bake

  • Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • Spread a few tablespoons of sauce over each dough.
  • Top with mozzarella and desired toppings.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.
  • Let cool for 2 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Add garlic herb seasoning to crust edge before baking.
Use a mix of low-moisture mozzarella and cheddar (like Domino’s blend).
Brush crust with melted butter + garlic powder after baking.
