Ingredients
  

For the Dough (Makes 2 pizzas)

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water about 110Β°F / 43Β°C
  • 2ΒΌ tsp 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

For the Sauce

  • 1 cup canned crushed tomatoes or pizza sauce
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Β½ tsp dried oregano
  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Toppings (Customize!)

  • 1Β½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni mushrooms, olives, onions, bell peppers, sausage, fresh basil, etc.

Instructions
 

Step 1 – Make the Dough

  • In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.

Step 2 – Prepare Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix crushed tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning. No cooking required!

Step 3 – Assemble Pizza

  • Preheat oven to 475Β°F (245Β°C).
  • Divide dough in half. Roll out each half into a 10–12 inch round.
  • Transfer to a floured baking sheet or parchment.
  • Spread a thin layer of sauce over dough, then sprinkle cheese and add toppings.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.

Step 4 – Serve

  • Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Garnish with fresh basil, red pepper flakes, or a drizzle of olive oil.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheat in oven or skillet to keep crust crispy.
