Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch or arrowroot starch for added crispiness
  • Optional: pinch of cayenne or chili powder for heat

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prep Chicken

  • Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
  • Pound to even thickness (about ¾ inch).
  • Rub chicken with oil on both sides.
  • Mix spices and starch in a bowl, then coat chicken evenly.

Step 2: Air Fry

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Place chicken in a single layer in the basket (no overlapping).
  • Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping at the halfway mark.
  • Check internal temperature: it should reach 165°F (74°C).

Step 3: Rest & Serve

  • Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Enjoy with your favorite side or as a protein in bowls and wraps.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
For extra crispy edges, lightly spray with olive oil halfway through.
