- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 3-4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 1/2 pounds ripe tomatoes or 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves torn
- Salt to taste
- Parmesan cheese freshly grated
Blanch and prepare tomatoes.
Cook pasta until al dente.
Sauté garlic in olive oil.
Add tomatoes, simmer, and season.
