  • 1 cup powdered sugar confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk or water for a thinner glaze
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract optional
  • Pinch of salt optional, to balance sweetness

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, sift the powdered sugar to remove any lumps.
  • Add milk (or water) gradually, whisking until smooth.
  • Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, if using.
  • Adjust consistency by adding more milk for a thinner glaze or more powdered sugar for a thicker icing.
  • Drizzle over baked goods and allow it to set before serving.
