Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 240g active sourdough starter
  • 1 cup 240ml warm milk
  • 2 tbsp 30g unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp 30g sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 3 cups 360g all-purpose flour, more as needed
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Instructions
 

  • Mix sourdough starter, warm milk, butter, sugar, and salt.
  • Add flour and mix to form a soft dough.
  • Knead until smooth and elastic.
  • Let rise 4-6 hours.
  • Shape into 12 rolls and let rise another 2-3 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Brush with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes.
