  • 1 tbsp maple syrup optional
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions
 

  • In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, maple syrup (if using), and salt until well combined.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
  • Dip each slice of sourdough bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for about 10 seconds per side.
  • Place the soaked bread onto the heated skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the skillet and serve warm with your favorite toppings.
